Look Magazine Weekly #31st August

August 27, 2015

Hello my lovelies I hope you all are good. Now I am loving this new cover, the pink rose wash background against the bold yellow is beautiful. I think Look should do more of this with there future magazine covers, and Fearne is looking beautiful. I hope you are ready for the fashion gossip that I am about to bring you this week. Also if you missed last week's post check it out here - Look Weekly
On to all things Look.....

So these trends are ones which help you in any weather condition, they are versatile pieces which will suit hot and cold weather conditions. Now these longline tunics can be styled with jeans or leggings which is great, plus you can style it with a cardigan when it gets slightly colder.
I love my sunnies, but these designer sunnies are so retro and I love that. They are great for the summer weather and you can still get away with them in the upcoming autumn months when we have those occasional sunny spells!
Denim being the fabric that can be worn in any season is great for any weather condition. You can rock a good old denim dress in the summer days but in the chilly cooler days you can add a denim jacket to give you the extra warmth.
Now I have seen these sleeveless dusters really break out this season and I think they are great, I seriously need to invest in one because I feel they can be a piece that is needed in the autumn season paired with long sleeve tops and jumpers!

Now my style picks of the week are from Miss Selfridges and H&M.
Starting with Miss Selfridges I love the white court shoes they are simply a smoking pair of heels, definitely give you that edge when wearing them along side your outfit! They are only £45 which is a affordable for a pair of heels and I think these will be great for night outs.
Now onto H&M I love this Bell sleeved black top, it's so different and makes such a statement even though it is plain. I think it could be a great top for the Christmas season, if only it was in red!

Fashion Style Series #3 - Glamorous

August 25, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you having a great Tuesday, if you are not then hopefully after reading this post you will feel a bit more joyful! So this week's fashion style is glamorous, every time I hear someone say Glamorous I always think of the Fergie song, the chorus is really catchy!

On to all things Glamorous .....

Now when we talk about Glamour/Glamorous, many people have a different interpretation to what glamour is but for me I think glamour is all about the red carpet feel. It's that one time you wear a dress and you feel good, look amazing, and your like dayumm girl you look hawt! ;) It's that speechless moment where everyone is like wow!

I feel every girl should be able to look glamorous and feel glamorous once in a while, I know a lot of girls out there want to feel special and look beautiful sometimes. And believe me when I say this, clothing can do that for you, when you wear something that looks and feels beautiful on you, it can give you a real confidence boost!

For me Glamour is all about comfortability, with a hint of drama. It's wearing something that is bright and that reflects your personality and that is why I have compiled a range of images that shows that. I think dresses give off a definite glamour feel and that is why the images are of different kinds of dresses showcasing statement and style with a difference.

One thing I will say to all the girls out there is, it does not matter what size you are, you can look and feel glamorous regardless of your waistline. People reading this are probably like yeah right, why discredit yourself that much, if you love your body then no one can tell you different. Forget what the world thinks the perfect girl is, in your eyes you will always be that perfect girl who love her imperfections! Remember the dress does not make you, it is the girl who makes the dress, its your beauty that radiates when wearing that dress!

You are your own beautiful!

All the dresses can be found on ASOS

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did then please give it a like! Leave a comment on what you love most about the Glamorous style

A Positive Mind Creates A Better Life ...

August 22, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! I decided to write a post about being positive and how a positive mind can affect your mindset as well as your life.

On to all things positive ...
Now many of my readers may be wondering why a sudden blog post about positivity, well for those people in the UK, over the last week big things for students have been happening. I'm talking about A level and GCSE results, when I think back to when these days came, I was scared too.

What I want to say is that grades should not set you back from what you want in life, one thing you must learn is when one door shuts another door opens. Failure is something you learn from and take forward as an experience, don't be disheartened on what you didn't achieve, instead look at what you have achieved and know you are capable of much more!

Now I am guilty of being more positive for others and less positive for myself, but recently when I was talking to my mum, I realised that how a positive mind can better your life. She made me realise that being negative will get you no where, it is the belief in yourself that will help you to prosper in life!

So that's why I want people to believe in themselves, I know it's hard and sometimes we have those days. But remember dwelling on the things we do not have will only make you feel worse about yourself. However if we turn those negative thoughts into positive thoughts then you can change your life completely. Think and create things that will provide you with a better future, take setbacks as an experience, go out your comfort zone and know you are capable of great things!

I leave you with a range of quotes that will uplift your spirit and be like "Yes I Can Do It".

Always remember no matter what anyone says to you, the only voice you should listen to is the one within yourself. If you know you can do it, then you're on the road to great things! And never forget to smile, this is the most precious feature one can possess :)

I hope this post has made you feel more positive about yourself, if it did then please give it a like! Let me know in the comments what your favourite quote was

Look Magazine Weekly #24th August

August 21, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all are having a good week. I know the post is late, I'm sorry, I had such a busy day yesterday I did not get time to sit down and write this post. I will try to get more organised from now on! For the lovely new readers who do not know what this post is about, it's a fashion and style gossip post I bring to you every week. I share the fashion trends and what clothes I am loving from my favourite fashion magazine. Check out last week's Look Weekly. Let's get this fashion parade started!

On to all things Look....
In this week's issue we have the beautiful Cara Delevingne on the front cover, I think she is so beautiful and she has great fashion sense. Some of the style pieces she wears are just so cute and glamorous!
Now I am so excited to talk about this trend, I feel like cord is something I remember from my childhood. I do remember wearing some cord pieces when I was younger, I think I owned a navy blue pair of cord trousers and my brother had a yellow pair! It's definitely a fabric you do not come across often, and I just love it! I have two pieces in my wardrobe at the moment that are a raspberry pinafore dress and teal skinny jeans, and they are great pieces to have. I think everyone should have a bit of cord in there life and in there wardrobe, I really like the cord dress Alexa Chung is wearing. There's navy blue polo neck inspired one you can find from Topshop at £38 which I really like! Definitely invest in a cord piece and trust me you will not regret it!
Moving on to my style picks of the week, which are from Primark and Oasis. Starting off with Primark, I had a little snoop around yesterday and saw that they have a good range of footwear for the upcoming season. I mean when I remember buying footwear when I was younger from Primark it was not as good, but this summer I have only been wearing two pairs of flats from Primark which have been really good! Primark footwear has come a long way over the years! One thing I am really liking at the moment is the denim styled shirt dresses, they are so simple yet so effective. And this one from Primark is only £10, which is so affordable, then again Primark is affordable fashion at its best!
So the last style pick is from Oasis, and it is the dark green fringed skirt. Fringed skirts is something I have seen alot of recently, and I am loving this trend. It's definitely a piece that is quite daring because for alot of people they wouldn't wear this in daily wear, for me I think it's more of an evening piece or if your hitting town with girls. I think whatever girl wears a fringed skirt is definitely making a statement! I think I need invest in this style of skirt, so I can keep it for one of those days where I feel like making a statement. This skirt is £85, which is on the pricey side, so I suggest that you do a bit of research and find a style that suits you and reflects your personality!!

Fashion Style Series #2 - Coachella/Festival

August 18, 2015

Hello my lovelies and welcome to the second post of the Fashion style series. This week's post is going to be about the Coachella/festival fashion and what pieces I feel go with this style.

On to all things Coachella/Festival......

The festival season has been great for those who been to them, because the weather has not been too bad! When I think of festival fashion, I think flower crowns because they have been a trend that has gone big this summer and I simply love it!

Another style of clothing that has become a success is fringing. People are loving the skirts, kimonos, jackets and even some dresses. I think fringing is great for festival fashion because it is a type of style that shows movement which is great when your dancing along to favourite songs!

Other fashion pieces that would go with this style are shorts, off the shoulder flowful dresses, flats shoes as well as trainers and maxi skirts styled with crop tops. I feel that festival fashion is definitely all about the comfort, because the main part of going to the festival is to have a good time, and wearing clothes you love!

My Favourite Style Piece from this week's style will have to be the flower crowns, I just love them, and I do not own one currently but I will be making a purchase for one!

Below I have compiled two images of what the festival style to me would consist of.
All these products can be found on ASOS

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did then please give it a like! Leave a comment on what you loved most about the festival style

L'Oreal Luminiser Review

August 17, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all had a better weekend then me. I know this post is a bit late and I apologise for that, I wasn't too well. Now enough about me, onto the post, so I am back with a review of a new shampoo I tried out.
On to all things L'Oreal.....
L'Oreal shampoos are normally good, so I thought why not try this out. When I was younger I use to use the pink bottle from the nutri-gloss range, and my hair didn't lack shine and dullness, I just wanted to enhance the shine and I felt those shampoo's did then.

My hair has a naturally shine and I just wanted my hair to look more glossy, so that's why I tried this out. Also I am forever changing shampoo's because with my hair after a while I start to get dandruff so I have to try something different.

This shampoo when I first used it, I wasn't impressed, but I think it was because I needed to wash my hair more thoroughly. So I gave it another try and after a couple of washes, I started to see the results of the shampoo. My hair had that extra shine and the glossy effect I was looking for.
So overall I was satisfied, I didn't get dandruff and there was a great shine to it! Great shampoo to use, if your looking to enhance your shine on your hair!

I hope you enjoyed reading this review, if you did then please give it a like! Comment below letting me know what new products you have tried and loved!

Look Magazine Weekly #17th August

August 13, 2015

Hello my lovelies I hope you all are having a good week. As you know I am back with the weekly dose of fashion and style gossip. If you missed last week's post, then check out the previous Look Weekly
On to all things Look .......

So one particular trend I have noticed recently are how the kimono style is vastly developing, I really like the kimono style wraps and dresses I have seen. Plus belts are really making a transition into the accessory world again, more people are incorporating it into there daily wear. And some people are styling the belts with there kimono pieces.

The other trend is one I have seen but my mum has pointed out alot, and that is the daisy print. Daisies have been used in different styles in a range of dresses this summer. When I think of daisies for me, it always reminds me of my younger years. When at lunch time we use to go onto the fields and sit on the grass and make daisies chains, they are such a simple flower but yet make such a statement in your wardrobe! Definitely a dress that every girl should have in there wardrobe!

My two style picks this week and from the highstreet shops, Topshop and H&M. From Topshop I am loving this lace shirt (£28), if you know me I love lace. Not only does this shirt compliment the dungarees, it will look great styled with a pinafore dress or even paired with some cobalt blue trousers, you will definitely be able to style it with a variety of outfits!
The second style pick that caught my eye was those laced red flats from H&M, I just the love the colour. I think red shoes is a must have for any girl and what better than a pair of laced flats!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, if you did then please give it a like! Comment below telling me your favourite item from this week's post.

Fashion Style Series #1 - Bohemian

August 11, 2015

Hello my lovelies and welcome to my new series I am going to be doing over the next month. So this series, is called Fashion Style Series and from the name you probably got an idea of what it is likely to be about. This series will consist of clothing that would be considered when looking at a particular fashion style.

Style is something you create and sometimes you may want to experiment with some different styles you have not tried before, everyone's style is distinct and does not always fit into a specific category. However I would like all you lovely people to experiment with your inner style and wear something you haven't tried before. I will be explaining some of the clothing and accessories which are usually wore under specific styles. So let's get started!

On to all things Bohemian ....

So the first fashion style I will be talking about is bohemian. When we think of bohemian it's a free flow style with long skirts, flowy trousers, long sleeve baggy blouses, long necklaces, hair crowns etc its quite like a gypsy style or sometimes referred to as a hippy style.

I quite like some of the elements to the style, we all have the those days where we want to wear something a bit more loosely fitted and airy, and I feel bohemian can do that. I like how the style showcases movement with the dresses and skirts, plus the flower crowns are the perfect accessory to finish off this style of outfit!

If I had to pick "My Favourite Style Piece" it would be the baggy sleeve blouses because I feel the comfortability factor is just so great and they look so pretty paired with jeans, skirts or even shorts!

Below I have compiled three images of elements that I think the bohemian style is all about and some clothing that would suit the style from this summer's trends.
All these products can be located on ASOS
All these products can be located on ASOS

I hope you enjoyed this post of the first fashion style series, if you did then please give it a like! Leave a comment on what you loved most about this bohemian style

Very Good Lives - Review and My Thoughts

August 08, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you all a having a great weekend and you are enjoying this lovely weather. So when the sun is out everyone enjoys sitting out in the sun reading a good book occasionally, and lately I have been reading the book 2 or 3 times because it is just so good.
On to all things J.K Rowling....
We all know the author J.K Rowling, if you do not know her she is most famous for writing the harry potters books, I just loved the films and are yet to read the books!
This book is very different to what she normally writes, this is because this is a commencement address which was held at Harvard University.
This book is just so great I cannot credit any higher, it is literally a great read! It covers two topics which is the benefits of failure and importance of imagination. The topic about benefits of failure really helps put your mind in a fresher perspective and for me makes me realise that failure is something you must embrace rather than fear. And the importance of imagination is very self explanatory, we all know that imagination is key in life and we should never underestimate it. If we imagine it then we can surely achieve it.
It is a very short read, with great pictures of stand out quotes. I would highly recommend this book, its very inspirational and motivational to read!

I purchased the book from Amazon for £6.99 - Very Good Lives By J.K Rowling

I hope you enjoyed reading this quite so different post, if you did then give it a like! Comment below on books you are currently reading

Look Magazine Weekly #10th August

August 06, 2015

Hello my lovelies, I hope you are having a lovely day. So I am back with another Look weekly, I have some great fashion picks lined up! If you missed last week's Look Weekly then check it out.
On to all things Look....
So we have the beautiful RiRi on the front of this week's cover, I love the white theme she has going on, I feel like white is such a clean colour to wear. Even though everyone is potentially weary because you always feel more cautious that some mark or stain will appear on it!

We all love our emoji's, and this article features how you can incorporate the emoji's into your daily life. I love the rings they are simply cute but its a shame they didn't have the faces in the ring style. Also there is a new watch coming out in September from Swatch that keeps track of your mood, which I simply love!
Now the fashion picks of the week are from three brands, first one is from Reiss, the beautiful boho chic dress in the colour I would say mauve/lilac. It's just so pretty and free flowy, the hat just makes it that little bit different! The dress is £180, hat £60 so this is on the high end of the price spectrum, but it would be a great investment for the approaching Autumn season!

The next brand that caught my eye was Urban Outfitters, I quite like there style of clothing they simply have clothing that is different to other brands out there! The piece of clothing I particularly liked was the denim shirt with the "S" etched on the pocket, I have been looking for a denim shirt and this one is only £30, which I just love!
The last brand is Zara and who doesn't love a bit of Zara they have great clothing all around. I really like the yellow blazer styled jacket (£39.99), and those red zip trousers (£25.99), if you know me by now I really love pops of colour and these pieces will definitely add that pop to your outfit! They are affordable pieces plus they will definitely make you stand out, embrace the colours around you, you never know it may become your favourite colour!

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you did then please give it a like! Comment below telling me what you loved most about this post,
